We can see the relevance of sports in this modern world from our lifestyle itself. This is because increasing health problems and physical infirmities are affecting our next generation today. Every parent has realized this and has started a period in which their children can go into sports and thereby regain their athletic ability. Along with their children's education, there is a growing desire for parents to bring their children into sports.Because, children are not only physical. Sports help you to move forward a lot mentally. Sports are an asset for children to deal with mental problems such as fear, mental conflicts, and the ability to deal with a matter intelligently, and to accelerate their behavior towards others.
Sports today play a huge role in the mental development and physical fitness of children.It can also deter the new generation from drug use and other bad practices.Recognizing the growing importance and opportunities of water sports today, the program aims to bring water sports opportunities to children.
The programme was started by 4 PM, and was Welcomed by Sri. Dr,Saheer Naduvanchery. Treasurer, MTM Trust. The programme inaugurated by the honourable chief guest Sri. Captain.UnniKrishnan, Retired Army Officer.
Captain Unnikrishnan served in the Indian Army for 25 years. He spent time in places like Jammu and Kashmir, Leh Ladakh and Manipur. The captain, who is also a national level kayaking champion, has won several championships representing the states. He is also a captain in the Army and an athlete representing various states.
The captain was also interested in starting our own kayak training program for school and college students preparing to win medals at the national level in the sport. He also spoke in detail about the opportunities to enter the best universities in the sport and get a job through the sports quota.
College students, alumni, and those working in the tourism sector attended the program and asked for their doubts and comments. The program was windup ed by Mr. Muhammed Shihab.O.K (Head of the Department of Physical Education) with his vote of thanks to the dignitaries and all the members attended the program.
